Professional Beauty College of Australia is a Registered Training Organisation delivering qualifications from the National Beauty Training Package recognised by the Australian Qualifications Framework and the Queensland Department of Employment and Training. As a training provider, Professional Beauty College of Australia provides students of make-up services, nail technology, retail cosmetics and beauty therapy with Nationally Recognised Training qualifications.

You can only gain a qualification by training through an RTO (PBCA) or by a workplace traineeship with PBCA as your Supervising RTO. You will be provided with training in the key skills and core knowledge of the make-up, beauty and nail technology industries. Throughout your training, you will use "professional only" products and resources.

Unless otherwise stated in pre-qualification information, learning materials are included in the standard scale of fees, eg. in Make up Services and Nail Technology training you are provided with a professional starter kit stocked with "professional only" products

You will be assisted to find a job through the College's work placement service, which has connections with all aspects of the Australian industry. Professional Beauty College of Australia is proud to have provided organisers of the Goodwill Games with make-up assistants and graduates to prepare performers for the Opening ceremonies.

National Retail AssociationSince 2002, Professional Beauty College of Australia has been proud to be the supplier of the Official Make-up Team for the Australian Fashion Design Awards organised by the National Retail Association.

SELECTION

You are invited to attend an interview and view our training areas. If you have already completed some previous make-up or related training such as beauty therapy, hairdressing or cosmetics retailing you may be eligible for direct credit or Recognition of Prior Learning for some units. If you believe that you fall into this category, you should discuss your claims with Professional Beauty College of Australia administrative staff prior to enrolment. A minimal fee is charged to establish skill level, verify experience and collect evidence of experience.
