You can only gain a qualification by training through an RTO (PBCA) or by a workplace traineeship with PBCA as your Supervising RTO. Unless otherwise stated in pre-qualification information, learning materials are included in the standard scale of fees, eg. in Make up Services and Nail Technology training you are provided with a professional starter kit stocked with "professional only" products

As a graduate make-up artist, nail technician, beautician/beauty therapist or retail cosmetic consultant, you will be in demand as a work-ready employee for theatre, film, television, department stores, pharmacies, salons or as a freelance consultant.

You will be assisted to find a job through the College's work placement service, which has connections with all aspects of the Australian industry. Professional Beauty College of Australia is proud to have provided organisers of the Goodwill Games with make-up assistants and graduates to prepare performers for the Opening ceremonies.

Since 2002, Professional Beauty College of Australia has been proud to be the supplier of the Official Make-up Team for the Australian Fashion Design Awards organised by the National Retail Association.

SELECTION

You are invited to attend an interview and view our training areas. If you have already completed some previous make-up or related training such as beauty therapy, hairdressing or cosmetics retailing you may be eligible for direct credit or Recognition of Prior Learning for some units. If you believe that you fall into this category, you should discuss your claims with Professional Beauty College of Australia administrative staff prior to enrolment. A minimal fee is charged to establish skill level, verify experience and collect evidence of experience.
