4 Semesters

Provide Lash and Brow Treatments (Tinting)

Pierce Ears

Provide Temporary Epilation (Waxing) and Bleaching Treatments

Apply Knowledge of Skin Biology to Beauty Treatments

Advise on Beauty Services (including basic facial procedure)

Intro to Apply Knowledge of Anatomy & Physiology to B/Therapy Treatments

Intro to Apply Knowledge of Skin Science to B/Therapy Treatments

Communicate in the Workplace

Work Effectively in a Retail Environment

Apply Safe Working Practices

Sell Products and Services

Merchandise Products

Conduct Financial Transactions

Perform Routine Housekeeping Duties

Provide Service to Clients

Apply Techniques to Update Beauty Industry Knowledge

Design and Apply Make-up

Provide Manicure and Pedicare Service

Apply Gel Nail Enhancement

Apply Nail Art

All units as detailed above are required for qualifying in the beauty industry. Further full-time training may be required after grade 12 to complete unfinished competencies.
